- Well, I can't really tell you allllll about me! LOL. But I can tell you that I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and Christian. And I love scrapbooking, card making, painting, and altered art. I love to coordinate parties with themes and come up with new ways to incorporate paper art into them. I enjoy working with my hands and making something out of nothing. It's such a wonderful thing to know that there are so many beautiful women out there who share the same passion for this hobby....ART! that I do. I draw inspiration from everything around me and from people like you! So, let's get scrappin'!

Good evening fellow scrappers: It was one of those days at work. And all that I wanted to do was come home, sit at my desk and scrap until my fingers bled! So, at the end of my day, I came home; said hello to my family, shut my bedroom door and started scrapping. Finished a few cards. Did a 6x6 layout. And began several other 12x12 layouts that don't have pictures yet. I then decided to get a jump on things and get started with the That’s Alterable (April) Challenge over at Scraps of Color. For this particular month we were to alter playing cards; at least eight and the box. I tried a few different things using the cards, wasn’t satisfied and didn’t like them and then tossed them into the trash and kept going. I was like the Little Engine that Could On Brain Freeze. I kept thinking "you can do this, you can come up with something! You’ve been dying to get home to scrap, and now you’re sitting here like a lump on a frog – sitting and staring and not accomplishing anything!” That's when I decided to try using my punches. This is the result after about 10 cards wasted using different punches. LOL. I really like how they turned out. I’ve decided that I’ll be making an entire bouquet to give to someone as a present. But next time, I’ll use red coated cards. Thanks for looking. And please, come back soon! Hugs+Kisses Renee

Hey folks: Continuing with the That's Alterable Challenge over at Scraps of Color. This month we are to alter a wine bottle. This is my first attempt - to make a "lamp." Didn't turn out quite the way that I expected. But still, I like it. And like always, I know what my mistakes were. Will make another attempt at correcting those mistakes before the month is over. And I don't mind saying that I'll have plenty of opportunities to try again...wine bottles are starting to pile up. LOL. Come back soon! Hugs+Kisses Renee
