Hi all:
Back again with more sketches. Since I have pages and pages and pages of them! LOL.
So, I'll be posting them for the next couple of weeks.
I hope you enjoyed your little trip through my sketch book.
Please leave me a little bit of love so that I know that you were here.

More Pages from my Sketch Book
Hi all:
I'm back again with those pages that I talked about in my last post. That's right, more sketches!
I'm having fun doing them while so much of my scrappy supplies are packed away. It keeps me busy, and crafty, when I can't make cards or do scrapbook layouts or altered art.
I find that it's really hard to photograph sketches. So if you've got some great tips for doing so, please help me out....
So, here is some more pages for you to take a peek at. Don't forget to leave me some bloggy love. I always look forward to hearing from you.

Sketches 2014
Hi all:
I'm always so excited when I can sit still long enough to post to my blog. I neglect it so much for weeks at a time. Not because I want to, but because there's so many other things that I need to take care of.
Like still trying to get my space in some kind of order. Granted, it is absolutely nothing to look at, but I'm trying to have a space for everything. And if I can't and I can do without it, I'll be donating it to somewhere, somebody, some time very soon.
So, what have I been doing crafty?
Well, if I'm not doing a page in my art journal, I'm working on sketches. It's something that I've been doing for a long time. Never have I said that I was a sketch artist. But I think with each time; I get better. I keep trying my hand at actually painting the sketches, but I never really learned how to do "shading for skin tones." So I find that I really like how my sketches come out, so why "mess them up trying to paint them?" And so I just don't. Remember the song "I love you just the way you are"? That's how I've been feeling.
I've been sketching like crazy. Anywhere, everywhere. People who are interested in what I do are always asking me "who" the sketches are of? And I have to say "who does it look like?" Because I'm not that good! They're from my imagination. Don't get me wrong, I get "inspired" by someone that I've seen or crossed paths with, but they're really no one in particular. And if they look like someone you know, then that's great, it means that I'm getting better at it!

These are some of those pages in my sketch book
I have a lot of pages to post. But it's hard photographing sketches. I'm no expert...teehee!
But they'll show up really soon.....
Thanks for dropping by. Please come again!

Art Journal Pages
Hi all:
Thanks for stopping by!
I'm still cleaning and purging and making room in my space. So, again, I'm doing a lot of art journaling instead of making layouts and cards and altered art pieces. These are some of those pages....

Of course, there are a lot more pages that I've done. And I'll be posting those soon too. Although I'm having a good time working in my journals. I'm ready to create some cards. I think that I might have to go searching through the boxes (no, I wasn't smart enough to really put things away in a orderly fashion and be able to easily put my hands on it...sigh). But it's the weekend, so I'll make the time!
Again, thanks for stopping by. Leave me some love. I'd appreciate it.

World Art Drop Day
Hi all
As usual, life got in the way of my crafty life and I've been pretty busy with everything except crafting. Although I find time to do something every day, I don't always find the time to photograph and post to several sites.
But here I am today to share a bit of news that you might find of interest. On
Tuesday, September 2, 2014 join fellow crafty people and artists from around the world in
So what does "artists" mean? Students, professionals, painters, cartoonists, sculptors, illustrators, animators, altered arts, designers, EVERYONE who creates! Yes, YOU!
Here's how it works!
1. Draw or paint a picture or make some other form of art.
2.Take a photo of the art, the hiding place or a combination of both.
3. Post the image, the City that you dropped it in, and a hint of where to find the art, to the finder on any social media of your choice. Facebook, Tweet, Blog or tell someone in person.
Be sure to include the hashtag #artdropday
4. Then move on, hoping that someone finds it. Or, hang around and meet your new friend.
5. Don't forget to include some information about yourself on a tag, etc. and where to reply and let us know of their find.
Exciting!
I'll be dropping several pieces between here, other counties, and along New Jersey. Hopefully, the finders of my art will make contact and it will be positive!
So, will you be joining the rest of us? I promise that you'll feel good knowing that your art is providing some kind of joy to its finder. And if they don't like it; maybe they know someone that will... Art has a way of finding its rightful owner.
