Again, I think that there is a conspiracy against me concerning my computer and camera.  For some reason all of the pics want to come in horizontal.  Sigh, again I must call on my son who will no doubt reprimand me for some weird thing that I've done to the computer and camera AGAIN.

Sketch, Color, Create 12/14/2014

Sketch, Color, Create Series: 11/30/2014

Hi everyone:

I'm here again with another entry into the Sketch, Color, Create Series featured at Scraps of Color.

This sketch is from an unknown artist and was used as the basis for inspiration.

This is what I came up with

If you know me, you know how much I love pencil sketches.  Love this one so much that I chose to do a pair.

I love getting practice in whenever I can. I think that's why I like these challenges.

MFP:SWAT Challenge #120

Hi all:

Just a quick post.

Since I seem to be all caught up on projects  that were due, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and join in on the fun at some of my favorite sites.

This quick and simple card was created for Mark's Finest Papers' Sketch With a Twist.  The twist was to create a winter card.

This is the sketch we were to follow

The card was made using just a half of sheet of green cardstock and a half sheet of light blue.  I used the Sizzix Evergreen Tree pop-up die to create the tree, a Martha Stewart snowflake punch (I used dimensional dots to raise them up), and the sentiment which has been stamped using American Crafts pigment in Cricket.  The snow "drifts" were made by just curving the cuts in different places in the white cardstock.  Voila! Done!
