Keep on Scrappin'!
Hi there friends:
Just wanted to post a quick pic of the latest mini album completed. This one is made from manila coin envelopes (approx. size 5x3"). I like the size of it. Compact enough to fit into your purse, but large enough to give you room to add pictures and little bits of memorabalia. The paper used was from a lovely, India Mat stack (Joanns), with shades of brown, gold and silver. Some of the pages felt like fabric and mulberry papers. They're really very pretty. I received the paper stack as a gift reward (from Naudja P.) for completing a year long challenge over at Scraps of Color. The Name Game. It is a book about me. We used each letter in our name to tell a story about ourselves, e.g. for the letter "R" I chose the word "romantic." Get it? It was fun and although each page doesn't have a photo of me, it was fun to complete the 12 month challenge.
It's not the best picture in the world, but I hope that you can see it clearly.
I added mulberry roses, string pearls, skeleton leaves, shells, decorative ribbon, feathers, and additional embellishments to the cover.
I hope you like it!
Until next time,
hugs + kisses
Renee
