Sorry for the delay. Blame Blogger! I noticed that my post hadn't shown up as scheduled and tried to do a little bit of troubleshooting....It seems to have disappeared into cyberspace! And so I had to do some quick improvisions...so here it goes.
Welcome back to the Scraps of Color Hearts and Roses Blog Hop...Day 2! You can start at the beginning by going to http://scrapsofcolor.ning.com/events/scraps-of-color-hearts-and-roses-blog-hop for more details.
I decided to do a Double Z Fold Card for my Day 2 contribution. The patterned paper used here is by Twitter Pop called Tinkering Ink. I used my Martha Stewart lacy heart punch to add just a touch of dimension to the belly band, using red and white card stock. The inside sentiment is part of some stickers that I've had in my stash for almost 'forever.' But, I felt that because the paper is so "busy," it didn't need a lot of embellishment to the inside. It's an easy project and can be done assembly line style once you get your paper cut.
That's it for today. I hope you enjoyed seeing this card. And don't forget, the hop runs from Feb. 14th through Feb. 16th. So you still have time to take a peek at all of the contributions by some very talented women. Also, there's blog candy being offered on lots of the contributing blogs. So don't forget to sign up to become a follower and leave comments on all of the posts.
I'll be announcing the winner of the blog candy being gifted away for this hop on Mon., Feb. 17th.
Until tomorrow...
Hugs+Kisses
