That’s Alterable Challenge: April

Good evening fellow scrappers: It was one of those days at work. And all that I wanted to do was come home, sit at my desk and scrap until my fingers bled! So, at the end of my day, I came home; said hello to my family, shut my bedroom door and started scrapping. Finished a few cards. Did a 6x6 layout. And began several other 12x12 layouts that don't have pictures yet. I then decided to get a jump on things and get started with the That’s Alterable (April) Challenge over at Scraps of Color. For this particular month we were to alter playing cards; at least eight and the box. I tried a few different things using the cards, wasn’t satisfied and didn’t like them and then tossed them into the trash and kept going. I was like the Little Engine that Could On Brain Freeze. I kept thinking "you can do this, you can come up with something! You’ve been dying to get home to scrap, and now you’re sitting here like a lump on a frog – sitting and staring and not accomplishing anything!” That's when I decided to try using my punches. This is the result after about 10 cards wasted using different punches. LOL. I really like how they turned out. I’ve decided that I’ll be making an entire bouquet to give to someone as a present. But next time, I’ll use red coated cards. Thanks for looking. And please, come back soon! Hugs+Kisses Renee
