New Art Journal Pages

Hi everyone:
I'm glad that you stopped by to visit my little piece of blogland.

It's so true that there just isn't enough time in the day to get all of the things that need to be done finished.  Especially if any of that time is used to have fun right?  The normal work day can just drag on and on and on...but as soon as you start having fun - whoosh! it just goes by so fast.

Progress is being made on getting my room back together.  Nothing fancy mind you. But efficient.  And so even though I'm still finding time to craft; which happens six days outta seven, I haven't had the chance to really post anything, anywhere.  I haven't joined in on many challenges either.  But I do try to keep up with what's going on so that I'm not lost in the craft queendom.

I've been working a lot in my art journals.  Of course that's maily because so many items to be used in making cards and scrapbooking and altered art are packed away.  I find it relaxing.  And even though I can't always colorize my pages, I find that I can still do sketches no matter where I'm at.  At work. The doctor's office. On the bus or train. Even in the kitchen while cooking. LOL.

I've posted several of those pages below.  I hope that you like them.

I so enjoy doing the SheArt paintings. This is one of my favorites.
Completed using acrylic paints, Copics, and Chalk markers.

I saw a little girl walking with her mother, holding hands.
Her red ribbon was about to come out of her hair...

I was in a very happy mood and wanted to use a lot of different colors.
This was done using my water color paints.

I completed  this journal page while listening to the new Pharrell Williams hit single "Happy!"

It was a slow day at work. I was bored...lol

I've been holding on to these wing die cuts that I received from my friend, Sharon S.  It was the perfect time to use them along with my new wood grain stencil, Dylusion spray inks, and contact paper.

I have lots more pages to show you; but I'll save them for another time.

Please, while you're here, leave a comment.  I so look forward to reading them!
I'll be back soon.

Until then,
Hugs+Kisses
Renee

Glad you've been getting your craft on! I really think you should see about getting that bird page printed up on some greeting cards! It's that kind of page... :D
