Birthday Card

Hi all:

Just a quick post. But before I get started, let me apologize in advance for this post display, for some reason it keeps changing my text colors and I haven't figured out what the problem is......it seems to show up differently on each computer at my house.

Anyway...

This card being entered into http://avenue613.blogspot.com/ challenge #41 "anything goes w/optional twist." Pile it on!  And so I piled on the lace!

I've been making cards regularly, joining in on more challenges and contests and of course, forgetting to take pictures before I send them off to their recipients!  But this time, I remembered. Yay me!! This is the card that I created for my sister's birthday. It's more of a book; as I wanted to add some notes to tell her what she means to me and I knew that I'd need more room.

Products used:
Prima Doll Stamp #DOLL9-10167, base cardstock cut at 4"x8"
scraps of lace and doilies, Stampin' Up! Early Expresso ink,
and unknown pattern paper
(yeah, I've got to stop taking apart paper pads without noting their names!)

Her birthday is on the 24th and I didn't want to rush!
I hope she likes it.

Until next time
Hugs+Kisses

Renee

Love how you embellished the Prima Doll Stamp! The background paper is spot on! Great composition and beautiful execution! Thanks for leaving this on our front porch here at 613 Avenue Create!
