About Me

My photo

Well, I can't really tell you allllll about me! LOL. But I can tell you that I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and Christian. And I love scrapbooking, card making, painting, and altered art.  I love to coordinate parties with themes and come up with new ways to incorporate paper art into them.   I enjoy working with my hands and making something out of nothing.  It's such a wonderful thing to know that there are so many beautiful women out there who share the same passion for this hobby....ART! that I do. I draw inspiration from everything around me and from people like you! So, let's get scrappin'!

Scraps of Color Hearts and Roses Blog Hop: Day 3

Hi everyone:

So glad that you've joined us in the Scraps of Color Hearts and Roses Blog Hop: Day 3!  If this is your first time hopping; you've missed some great projects and should take the time to start at Day 1 here.

I, along with some other very crafty and talented women have teamed up to bring you some Valentine's and love themed projects Feb. 14th through Feb. 16th.  We hope that you've taken the time to hop along through all of the participating blogs, join up and follow them, including this one, and leave comments along the way on all of the projects.

I've done lots of projects for this hop.  It was so much fun and exciting to be a part of.  And for Day 3 of this hop, I've done a picture frame.  This one comes from my local Dollar Store.  I've painted it with black acrylic paint and added sticky flat back pearl and bling.  The metal flower was originally a hair clip that I took apart.  Can you see how the inner petals also resemble hearts?  I loved the look of these flowers so much that I bought these hair clips in sets of red, white, black, green, and purple!  And lastly, the image that I used was taken from Pinterest and colored with Copic markers.

I hope that you had a lovely, memorable Valentine's Day and weekend.
Thank you again for joining me, becoming a follower and making a comment. I really do appreciate them all. Your next stop should be http://craftysue52.blogspot.com/ to see another fabulous Valentine's project.

And don't forget to stop by on Mon., Feb. 17th to see if you won blog candy here.

Again, much love
