Oh What to Do With So Many Envelopes?? Mini Albums!!

Hi all:

Some time ago, I found a stash of envelopes that I must have had for years and years and years.  I must have been 'saving' them 'just because.'  They were just a mixture of envelopes in different sizes.  There were even coin envelopes in there.

So of course, I decided to make several quick envelope mini albums using the coin envelopes and also any scraps of patterned paper that I have around; because I've got to use em up! LOL.  I used the same design that I used for the mini album that I gave (or she stole! LOL) to my BFF several years ago.  And because the coin envelopes are so small it didn't take a lot of paper to keep the consistency going on each page.

I'm thinking that they'll make cute little stocking stuffers for my nieces.  More stylish than a plastic photo album right?

I used six coin envelopes to create this little album.  One sheet of card stock was used to create the little tags. The edges of the envelopes were distressed with TH ink; including the tags.  Lucky me, I even had enough brown ribbon, which I always seem to run out of.  So, altogether this little mini packs a punch as there are 12 pages and six tags for photos or journaling.  Love it!  Plus, I thought it would be cute to make a little chipboard box to sit the mini album in.  That way it could sit on my desk or a shelf if I decide not to keep it in my purse where it would definitely get crushed! Haha.
