MFP / Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge #189

Hi all:
Another quick post...yup, they're gonna be coming in quick succession.

My goal was to create something, anything, every day for the month of December.  And even though it's the holiday season, it doesn't matter if it's Christmas related or not.  So, yes, I'll be posting quite frequently....especially if I'm not paying attention to the challenge blogs entries that I can group together in one post!

Anyway, over at Mark's Finest Papers the challenge for

Speedy Fox and Friends Challenge 189

is to create a BLUE CHRISTMAS themed project

 12/07/2013

For this card, I tried the dryer sheet technique.  First you stamp your image/images.  And then you were to lay a piece of used fabric sheet over top of the image using a spray adhesive.  Oooops! I didn't have spray adhesive on the shelf anymore, I had spray sealant still on the shelf! Darn. Drats. Geez!  But determined-little-me decided to take my chances and use a little bit of Glossy Accents and see what happened.  I squeezed a dollop onto my finger and lightly spread it over the entire surface so as not to smear my images and quickly laid down the dryer sheet.  The next step called for you to sprinkle glitter over top of the dryer sheet and tap off any excess.  The clouds were created using TH Distress ink in Broken China and an EK Success scallop punch.  I matted the card to a black card base and voila, this is the end result. I hope you can see the sparkle.

More later....

I can see the sparkle Renee and it is beautiful! Great idea to use Glossy Accents since you didn't have any other adhesive. Thanks for playing along with us this week at Speedy Fox & Friends blog challenge!
